文中に登場する「Trumps」というレストラン。閉店してしまったのでウェブでの情報はなかなか厳しく、時期が時期だけに次期大統領候補のトランプが検索にかかってきます。
でも、ひとつだけ通販サイトに手がかりがありました。
Trumpsにあった「（中古の）小皿」が１２ドルで売られています。
商品が売れてしまったらこのサイトは無くなってしまいますので、原文も含め引用させていただきます。
■（閉店したロサンゼルスのレストラン）Trumpsの小皿
Tumpsは、Melrose通りにある高級レストランだった。ハリウッドのエリートたちが気に入って使っていた。エディー・マーフィー、サリー・フィールド、ジェリー・ブラウン、エドワード・ケネディ、エリザベス・モンゴメリ、ミッツィ・ゲイナーなどなど。レストランとしても知られていたが、サウス・ウェスト風の建築やミニマル・アート・ギャラリーを飾ったインテリアと外国産の多肉植物を植えたコンクリート製のダイニング・テーブルも有名だった。
Trumpsは、１９９２年９月４日に最後に食事とティー・タイムを提供して廃業した。
この二枚の皿は、私（出品者）が長い間Trumps関連グッズを何カ月も捜していてようやく見つけたものだ。
直径は４インチで、中央にTrumpsのロゴが入っている。

■Trumps Small Dishes, Closed Los Angeles Restaurant
Trumps was an upscale restaurant located on Melrose Avenue. It was a favorite of many of Hollywood's elite including Eddie Murphy, Sally Field, Jerry Brown, Edward Kennedy, Elizabeth Montgomery, Mitzi Gaynor, and many more. Besides its famous diners, it was also known for its southwestern facade, minimal art gallery interior and ascetic concrete dining tables bearing tiny exotic succulents.
Trumps served its last dish and held it's last 'tea time" on September 4, 1992. It then it closed for good.
These two small dishes may be all that's left because I've been searching online for months for anything having to do with Trumps and can find absolutely no other items.
The dishes measure 4 inches across and have the Trumps logo in the center.
